Refund policy
Weddings get postponed and parties get cancelled. Here is what happens to your money when they do.
While the service is free
WhoGame is currently free, so there is nothing to refund. This page describes what applies once events are paid for, and it is here now so you can read it before you rely on it.
Your right to cancel
As a consumer in the EU you have 14 days to change your mind about a digital service, from the day you buy it.
That right stops once the service has been fully performed with your agreement — for us, that is when your event has been played. Before then, ask and you get your money back.
If your event is cancelled or moved
If the party does not happen, write to us before the event date and we refund in full, whether or not the 14 days have passed. We would rather do that than hold money for a wedding that was called off.
If it is only moved, you do not need a refund: change the date on the event and everything moves with it, including the deletion window.
If it did not work on the night
If something on our side stopped your event from running — the game would not start, the display would not load, guests could not answer — tell us what happened and we refund in full. You should not pay for a game that did not play.
If it ran and the party simply went another way, we cannot refund it. Speeches run long and that is nobody's fault.
How a refund is paid
Back to the card you paid with, through Stripe. It usually shows up within five to ten working days, depending on your bank. We do not charge a fee for refunding.
What happens to your data
A refund does not delete anything by itself. If you want the event and its guest data gone at the same time, say so and we will remove it — or press delete yourself on the event's settings page.
Ask for a refund by writing to support@whogame.app with your event name. We reply within two working days.
